Our Sailing Excursions

Guests on the Catamaran SPREAD EAGLE II enjoy a fun filled day at one of Puerto Rico's deserted islands off the eastern coast.  Play in the sand or in the water.  Sun bathe, swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters or walk the palm fringed white sand beach and search for shells.  Please view our Sun & Fun Gallery.

These trips are open to the public with reservations made prior to the trip.
All are invited to join us for a sail aboard the SPREAD EAGLE II.

We can arrange round trip ground transportation for you from the San Juan area or if you'd like to drive yourself, you can print our map and detailed driving directions.


 

Sail to the paradise Island of Icacos aboard the modern, sailing, 51 ft catamaran, SPREAD EAGLE II!
Leaves Villa Marina, Fajardo at 10:00 a.m. returns at approximately 3:30 p.m.
After a brisk 40 to 50 minute sail, the Spread Eagle glides into a protected anchorage off an uninhabited Spanish Virgin Island. Sparkling beaches and crystal clear snorkeling waters await our guests.

Our premium ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT sandwich buffet lunch is the best in the business! We shop every day to get the freshest food possible. Build your own sandwich on 'Pan de Agua', a local bread. Start with a choice of solid white tuna salad, premium meats, American and Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and sliced bell pepper.  Top it with pickles, baby carrots and even a deviled egg or two. Add some of our homemade pasta salad, some fresh, ripe tropical fruit like pineapple, bananas, papaya and mango and some cookies for desert and you’ve got a great lunch, just the way you like it. We even have Peanut butter and jelly for the kid in all of us.

More Snorkeling!
After lunch, we move the boat to the reef for some of the best snorkeling that Puerto Rico has to offer. We provide bread to our guests to feed to the fish, and have underwater cameras available to record this amazing experience.

Later, on the way home, we serve 'Pan de Agua', cheeses and sliced apples. You won't go hungry, that's a promise!






Complimentary Bar!
Our complimentary bar is always open. We include Piña Colada and Tropical Fruit Punch (with or without rum) and premium sodas.  Have as much as you like.

Mixed drinks and beer are available, but not included with excursion fee.

The Day Trip Fee includes:
  • Free brand new snorkel...take it with you at the end of the trip.
  • Use of all other snorkeling equipment.
  • Snorkeling instruction from our experienced and friendly crew.
  • All you can eat Buffet Lunch
